The name Odíhg Fàmti̊ is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Fàmti̊ was founded by Tic Shankland, who was culturaly Tauric.

Odíhg Fàmti̊ has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 15°C (59°F). Odíhg Fàmti̊ receives an average of 262 cm/y (103 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Odíhg Fàmti̊ covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1416 m (4645 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Odíhg Fàmti̊ was founded durring the late 14th century in spring of the year 1292, by Tic Shankland. The establishment of Odíhg Fàmti̊ suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Fàmti̊ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt cobblestone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Odíhg Fàmti̊ weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The budget focused millitary grade defenses have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
A look around Odíhg Fàmti̊ has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Odíhg Fàmti̊ long.
Civic Infrastructure
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Odíhg Fàmti̊. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Odíhg Fàmti̊'s parks.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Odíhg Fàmti̊.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Odíhg Fàmti̊'s public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Fàmti̊'s natural decorations nor waterways.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Odíhg Fàmti̊ has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
There’s a relatively new religion in Odíhg Fàmti̊ which is rapidly gaining power. It might be a sectarian offshoot of a major faith, the unique product of a new prophet, or an outside faith backed by wealthy and powerful foreign supporters. Depending on the demands made on believers, the new faith may be a matter of concern only to the existing clergy, or it might be a major flashpoint for conflict in the community.
Odíhg Fàmti̊'s mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.
Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is skipped in Odíhg Fàmti̊.
The Caterwaul near Odíhg Fàmti̊ are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Odíhg Fàmti̊'s citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves drinking to channel Mysticism energies of tier 2 via recitation of scripture.
